other question can you name a track with a sound quality you like in particular? would be best if you could buy it as wav.
also a "brown dither" track would be interesting...
really no trick question here.

when you dont know the original tracks you cant tell wether the output is degenerated.. but when i play the source files of this track that is recorded in logic, in live its just a different thing.. sounds even worse mixed in live than the youtube version of the release..

just listen to an propper mixed audiotrack from within ableton live with warping on.. thats the brown henke dither...
opposite to what ableton states the samplerate conversion is not allways off when you set the clip speed to song speed...
than you compare with the audio file played thru the quicktime player.. enjoy the transparent soundquality
now take a well recorded drum stem..and a low level string sound.. mix them on zero db level in live.. now do the same with another daw or use 2 instances of the apple quicktime player... as finer the source recordings are as more obvios the degeneration thru the mix from within live is...
and the new test..the external fx plug. check this and compare what the similar plug does in logic...
do this 3 tests and tell me wether you still belive that live sounds as good as it should or not

ok. so i; "take a well recorded drum stem..and a low level string sound.. mix them on zero db level in live.."
then i play them at the same time with the volume turned up to 0dB and then i play them by using two instances of Quicktime at the same time. ok. getting right on that.
in the meantime;
i was wondering if you could name a track with sound quality you actually like.
and i was wondering if you could name a track or have a link to an example of brown henke dither.

does that mean you cannot name a track that is recorded the way you like it?
does it mean that there are no commercial versions of henke dither?
lastly, i just feel the need to say that i don't have Logic, Quick Time, or any big cone shaped purple external fx like you do. does this mean i cannot make music the way you like it and without henke dither?
