however the numbers for Apple are not specifically for Macs, those figures are for all Apple software, including iTunes, Quicktime and Safari, which are cross-platform.

actually the windows version of safari doesn't exhibit the same vulnerabilities as the mac version,

Mac's can and do get viruses but it is really rare as they are based of a Unix kernal.

^^ Not true, it is because of low market share and because the corporate world does not use Macs much.

Yea, I thought that was a fascinating insight into the real world of cybersecurity as well! Well, at least it was fascinating to me.

Now start a thread asking how many Mac owners
actually have a way of knowing if they're infected.
These "it cannot happen" statements equate to a wedding party that mails the crashers an invite. Haxors love a challenge.
