-specify "select scene" for each clip
-specify "get launched by scene" for each clip
-hidden follow actions.
-an more open environment to make you own control surfaces
-better handling of arrangement automations.

I own live and love it so no game changer for me.
Upate wishes: airplay/wifi-audio input, MFL included in the upgrade price, redrum type drummachine.

I reckon it's big enough already!

Else you need to get a lower-res screen to make it look bigger!

well i think you are a bit over dreaming on that one ,but there is child area forum for you and your friends, where you can say bad words!!! ;D

And by the way a looper will be nice, like the same way you are using sampler but to loop some clip song in real time.

You must say that ,because you got a PC, i got a PC and Mac laptop,Mac crashes sometimes, but ten time less than the PC, I have been lucky to find a mac for not too expensive, but i will never try to launch ableton on my PC again,it's just a waste of time.( i still use my PC for games tho) ;D

..that would certainly be the fair/honest thing to do...

even a year in and more.. L8 wasn't ready..
(also the "share" feature advertised when they sold..and excluding "obvious" features of m4l and it's performance)

but I really doubt they'll go that way..

little things that changes life, put a the spectrum within eq8 , a note pad to write the progression of the building up of the songs, so you can see where u've messed up and get back to it restarting from pieces, get a better eq3,like one from waveshell or fabfilter, and get some better samples banks like the one for kontakt, they are amazing,at least,if ableton could have his own plug like kontakt,we got sampler ,but then u need to find the rootkey of the sample first before to insert it,or in this case ,let's have a 'mixed in key' plugin within ableton.and again ,everything should be mappable within the sampler/simpler.

I would really like to see AAS's Tassman included in the Suite. As a Suite 8 user with Max for Live, that is the one thing that could happen that would make Live the perfect all in one program.

That and the polyphonic pitch adjustment found in Melodyne and some really nice processing plug-ins comparable to Eventide would all be rather nice too

Cool to see everybody on the same page really, basically all about refining or adding to existing features.
things like snapshots or alternative mixes, melodyne level time/pitch control, better automation etc. Couldn't care less about Suite instruments, maybe one day they'll click, but owning AAS plug ins makes them less desirable for me anyway.

Yeah, I kind of hope any future updates don't focus too much on add ons, and instead go back to improving the core program itself. The add ons are useful for some, but I think at this point there's some pretty major changes to the app itself that are needed to keep pushing things forward. Given how long it's been since any major updates, and how little each new beta seems to be adding to version 8, I'm pretty confident that's what we'll see though.
