A really easy one I hope has been implemented is the "recent file" selector.
I couldn't agree more - missing this (again) would be astounding. Please tell us it's in now.

Okay, I've got an EASY one.
Right now I'm using Live Lite GTR (imho, the best feature of the m audio Black Box, btw.) So if I go thru the upgrade process to Live 4, does that qualify me for the free bump to Live Five?
Soon as I heard about Five I emailed CS w/ this question, but so far, there's been no reply. Now I'm just sitting here, with money, waiting for an answer that'll get me off the dime.
TIA

Good stuff Robert, thanks. There will be people who will still complain about missing features but I for one am pretty happy about the breadth and depth of what's being rolled out in 5.
Keep it coming!

thanks for the replies Robert
1. will it be possible to do 'negative' swing, like right now you can scroll forward but will we be able to scroll backward in Live 5 with the same amount of percentage raits 'hopefully'???
just to make sure i'm talking about the global swing.

Q: An internal midi channel may still not be defined in prefs to act as "external" controll back in? (Not the most crusial thing though, routable by Yoke etc)

[Should I change the sig - may be misunderstood in this context...]

When syncing my wishlist with Q/A's here and the official 5 spec I am impressed.
Seems there has been som priority mind has been going through mine and others areas of interests.
There seems to be be some areas that has been left out, hopefully because they will be adress in a concise manner later:
* Follow actions (no additions to action types or wider flexibility)
* Info area request (the attacheble notes for clips, points, tracks etc)
* Live as rewire slave (still no VST's in that mode?)
* Macros (controller clips/controller tracks with editable macro actions)
* Soloing/consolidating clips in session
That said, and asked for confirmation, I am still impressed.
(The offset for clip start and end points was on my list and I just realised it is now implemented - BIG THANK YOU!)

Fingers crossed!
(Hoping "multible" was not a misspelled "mutable" but "multiple". A "mutatable" function would be good to! While a "mutilatable" could be left out [probably misspelled that one...])

You can already do that. Just use the follow action "play again"
