I'm not sure this is going to be possible - the BCR thinks it's working 0-127 and Live 0-255 so they get out of sync, I've played around with the BCR scripting but can't see a way to get these to play nicely together... I'll keep exploring but this is looking unlikely I'm afraid

What is the BCR sending?

the bcr is sending the relative values (as expected), it controls Live fine, but the LED ring gets out of sync as it's only got 128 steps for a full turn - the BCR "hits 0" well before Live does...

Strange.
I have a bcr here with the userscript (UserConfiguration.txt) provided by ableton. This is set up to AccelTwoCompliment for the encoders. What I see is a lag from the moving led while I turn an encoder, but the scaling after the lag is correct. If I change the value of a parameter in Live the led moves instantly.
I hope you can fix it. Once i started working with the higher resolution of relative mode i won't go back to absolute. :)

yeah, the custom scripting code does some stuff not usually done by the remote scripts...

can you send me over what you have and I'll see if I can get a feel for it...

the other thing to explore is the 14-bit control mode which I'll look into next week

Awesome! Looking forward to it. Have you plans on adding/enabling acceleration to the rotaries or is it already in?
