This is very easily solved by Ableton appointing multiple contenders for some new form of forum administration roles. While I'm unimpressed with PHPBB it should be possible to have some kind of simpler administration roles added, from which accounts could be temporarily disabled for posting and posts simply hidden, IP address ranges blocked and so on. Swift responses would deter somewhat.

i once had a mult here on this forum, rote fahne. rote fahne got banned.

under this mult i put a triptych in the dhilsabeck topic. it was a triptych about the second world war, i admit, a little pretentious, but after 70 years.

the triptych existed of pictures. 1. was a picture of ss soldiers marching, 1. was a picture of the cologne dom just after the bombardment (may 45) and 1. was a picture of auswitsch.

then i got a pm from ableton davy with a serious warning to remove the auswitsch picture.

i was "wtf"?

then i wanted to answer the pm and then "bang" ban.

then i found out if you do search results for rote fahne you will get 777 matches. (whats in a number), but if you watch rote fahnes postcount, you will find 778.

this is a serious issue which will have to be addressed before any other action is undertaken.

Anyways, this is pointless. Some people in the lounge believe that they or their little clique are the most important sun in the galaxy. I'm sure some of the people even feel I think that way. So here it is....I'll leave the lounge to you (whoever you are) debate captain obvious stuff to the point where it's all about nothing and.......for now........stay in only relevant areas.

I'd appreciate it if you'd respect that and not bring up my name anymore as I've seen from a handful of people who only seem to be on the ableton forums for the controversial lounge.

Believe me if you never post in the lounge and stick only to on topic subjects in the other parts of the forum no one will ever bring up your user names,
