you can download the manual of Logic Control
http://www.emagic.de/support/download/m ... hp?lang=EN

it looks like Mackie Control so much
Doesn't it serve as a reference?

OK...the sysex specs are really simple for the display..should be able to get something knocked together within the week.

Looking at something like the BCFview from Behringer, a floating window kind of thing...but resizable so you can line it up with the BCR controls.

I think a second monitor behind the BCR, containing the MCU display and assorted VST sounds like very good thing for the studio!

Namihei, djsubject - does this sound like it would work for you guys (Namihei especially, 'cause you deserve something for all your work!).

p.s. djsubject - I do own Tracktion 2, but Live 5 is so damn good I don't use that much anymore...but should be able to make 'huskerview' work there too.. :-)

Namihei is the king of MCU emulation :)

& if you can make this vue you will be king of MCU emulation displays ;)

what you discribed sounds perfict by the way (& i am verry excited about testing it :) )

i watched my mate play with live & i can see that its verry verry good (but dosent match my work flow) i had a play with the demo & it is quite easy to piick up, just at this time not what i am looking to spend my money on,

realy looking forward to testing the huskerview :D

PS, i all ready have 2 moniters, & was thinking of the same set up as you said (2nd screen abouve the bcr2000 ;) )

good luck!!

really?
I am very very excited
If I have the knowledge of the programming, I might have been able to help you.
If I can do, anything is done.

>>djsubject
Your words always encourage me.
thank you!

Is it already unnecessary?
New (and maybe final) version updated

http://www.geocities.jp/mackicrokontrol ... live5.html

-added "solo"s
-select tracks move to button33~40 (LED feedback)
-including "add-on"preset

Hello Namihei,
would it be possible to integrate a SOLO function into the Cubase SX Map too?

Btw, the SX map is working fine. Now if only husker or anybody else would be able and willing to program a Soft-LCD, this would be really, really great. Working without visual feedback can be difficult in MCE mode.
But we can't complain anyway, it's already a nice gift to all the BCR users to have a MCE. 8)

dose this guy never stop! :)

i think solo is much more importent than some of the others ;)

thease presets really rock!

i have been having so much fun with my bcr2000 :)

i also found out while playing (in Tracktion 2, but i think its the same in all hosts) that if you have it in plugin mode (ie: you hit the plugin button) then use the mouse to find your plugin, set the flip button to be on! so you can see paramater feed back! if you move the part you want to controll, you can see the lights move on the bcr2000 for the controller that links to that paramater, (if you see nothing move then you will need to scroll through the "page's" intill you get the the page with that paramater)

i wish there was a wat to get paramater feed back on the v-pot controllers :( but it seems ATM its not possable with the currunt settings on the bcr2000 :(

i realy hope we can get a display emu made for this 8)

but even as it is! its better than any other way you could set up your Bcr2000!

will it have a allways on top option?

& will it show the track number? (dont think that bit is displayed on the bcfvuew but it would be handy)

& will it do my house work?

I'll have a look later. I think I've had it, but don't remember atm.
Since I have to go to my friends house each time I want to work on SX, it sometimes takes a little while for me. Generally not long though, as I'm 4-5 times a week at his place.
Otherwise we're working with a combination of Namihei's MCE and a selfmade Generic Remote Device, put on 2 adjacent Preset slots on the BCR.
Works a treat. If you want our GR file (.xml) let me know. ;)

Cheers
