I looked but couldn't find the parameter to make the meter levels anything but green - it may be fixed. I tried the white meters too. There just isn't enough contrast.

This skin is so darn nice! I'm trying it out in a dark room right now, and it's pretty easy on the eyes. Once all the above mentioned kinks are worked out this is going to be THE performance skin for dark clubs.

Well, if anyone would know, it would be you. Dude, you have some awesome skins!
Is there any way to make the background of the meters something other than white? It seems to me that green goes well behind yellow, or a pale grey. Anything other than the white, because bright green on bright white is bad for the eyes. Same with the flashing triangles for queued up clips.

I'd agree with Supster on this... Also, the white on some plugin windows are a little bright, but obviously those can be hidden. My eyes have been reeeally sensitive lately and muted clip colors would make this perfect.
"imo if the colors are too bright against the skin, they will kill your eyes thereby also making it really unpractical to use
which is the main problem with most of the alt skins ive seen ... they're too garish and hard to look at
some pastel muted colors would pop out fine against this and make it possibly best skin ever.
EDIT: Like angstroms

The background meter levels can be changed to whatever you like.
Considering the reaction, I'm sure he'll have another verrsion out soon.
I certainly understand how everyone has different opinions on what works or inspires them. I continue to tweak skins and write new ones fairly regularly - particularly the last few weeks. I'll try to post updated versions of those and my take on the black/dark grey skin over the next day or two.

one thing that makes the skin completely unusable in arrangement view: i can't see the grid value (i mean the resolution).

Hi all.
I think this is the candidate to the final release.
By everyones sugestions I've made colors to the clips, changed the meter background to grey and tweaked some color to make some controls more visable.
Here is the screen of the final version of Klinikal Blue Control skin

Wonderful! Very cool looking. The first usable dark skin and I love dark skins so much coming from Logic. Thanx very much! I hope the work on this skin goes on...
There are only 3 things that should be changed:
- Low velocity notes in piano roll are too hard to see. Selected notes are almost invisible. Maybe we could get back the original colours of notes or something like that.
- In the small overview above the arrangement page clips are almost impossible to see.
- Finally If the black key guides in piano roll could be a little brighter it would be perfect.
