Overall i'm impressed with Brazil's back line. they are just a brick fucking wall, better shoot from the outside cuz you wont get in ! even so our goalie is very good.

Ronaldo was just pure dissapointment. Kaka is proving to be worth that reported 70 million and could very well be the next number 1 player in the world.

overall the game was a bit slow, brazil looked like they've been relaxing too long but its ok since it was the first game.

So mighty Brazil took down my beloved Croatia... not that that wasn't expected. Croatia played well though; I still think they will get out of the first Group but Australia may have something to say about that...

As far as Brazil, Ronaldiniho is the star of that team. I don't understand why Ronaldo is still talked about is their torchbarrier. There are 3-4 better players on that team. I guess he can still unload on his kicks but from an American standpoint, he reminds me of all of these overpaid homerun hitters we still have in baseball who are all well past their prime. I guess since he has a chance this World Cup to break the all time goal record the media has to talk about him.

Just my opinions. Brazil is a outstanding team that for all the right reasons should be expected to win the World Cup again.

Hey Bong, keep the updates coming! Some of us are at work trapped behind a firewall and the Ableton forum is our only link to the outside world.
Bad luck to ya...

Brazil took it 1 nil but weren't that convincing. With better strikers Croatia might have been able to get a draw (at least). Ronaldo didn't break out of a jog before being subbed....the silly fat shit.

it feels a little disappointing to think Australia is playing Brazil next - after the amazing result against japan it will be a shame to have it so quickly quashed! 8O

people quickly forget the pure amazement ronaldo was during 2002. he seems a bit unfit, hopefully that will change while the tournament moves forward.

Finally watched the recorded games of the day.

Did anyone here not get a yellow card during the France - Switzerland game? The Swiss ran some amazing triangles along the right side in the opening of the game. France seemed to run out of gas at the end, bad conditioning or thw Swiss wore them out.

Brazil needs to be bumped up a league. Because of them I've become a scientologist, they have to be aliens. Croatia looked really strong, kept their cool and played well. Good sportsmanship all around, except the random fan on the field.

No rain for Spain vs. Ukraine on the plain in the AM, know wha' I'm sayin'?

Yeah, we're all aliens:)
don't miswatch Ronaldo. He's chasing the Pelé goals record on world cups, i think he's still warming.
But without a doubt brazil turn into another team when Robinho came in.
Also Kaka is proving to be one of the best midfields ever. Too bad for Juninho...

Spain stand a really good chance of winning the thing if they can reproduce that performance a few more times.

that was impressive.

The 1st 2 goals were lucky and the PK was a gift from the ref. The last goal was good and it should have been the only one.

Still, I expected more from Ukrane.
