1. Compact, bright 13" widescreen
2. An OS that starts in 20 seconds and wakes up from sleeping in 1 second
3. 4-5 hour battery life
4. Innovative power adapter connection
5. USB, bus powered Firewire, gigabit ethernet, built-in wireless N, a lock port, slot-loading drive
6. Core 2 duo 2.16ghz, 1 gig of ram, and 100 meg hard drive at 5400 rpm
7. Comfortable keyboard
8. Three years of full-coverage insurance
9. An OS that almost never needs heavy maintenance, and is easy to diagnose if anything is wrong
10. An OS that is 99% compatible with all hardware developed for it
11. Less than an inch thick and just about 5 lbs.

Find me a Windows based portable computer with ALL those characteristics for $1500 and I'll eat my own shit.

It's great to see someone with the security to list the advantages of why they use what they use, rather than the insecurity to simply bash others.

i've been using macleans toothpaste for the last month, then just the other day i switched to colgate, and OMG I can honestly say macleans is so much better than colgate. it gives my teeth a whiter shine, and my breath smells minty fresh. and ZOMG it has BAKING POWDER FTW. colgate is just mushy mess which froths up and over fills my mouth with suds and WTF my breath still smells like farts aferward. in conclusion, macleans is so much better then colgate (which is for LuseRz~!).

I use both Windows and Mac.

I have to say that one thing i've been loving about the mac is how plugging in USB devices and things doesn't require clicking "continue" in some weird attempt to install drivers that are already there.

Very nice especially for live shows. Why on earth windows wants to reinstall drivers that are already there for a device i had plugged in 10 minutes ago is beyond me. I think this is why the mac "it just works" thing exists.

Lets me focus less time on the "computer" and more time on what i'm doing with it.

Colgate is poison.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.
