midi track navigation is a must if they're going to see my upgrade money. having to mouse around in order to change the focus of my automap get annoying really fast.
I'm almost ready to just get traktor scratch for playing my tracks, and sell Live for Logic Pro...but alas, im hooked on Live's workflow.

All these threats and demands...
Ableton better..... no money...... Logic.... Aargh.......
In a thread namd "Live 7".
Ya'll do realize that Ableton is probably laying out Live 8 at this point.
Making any statements like "Gimme xxxx in Live 7 or I wont upgrade" are so silly and funny but pointless.
I could be wrong. But if Ableton is still looking for ideas nearly halfway into 2007, they're doomed!

Yes. Seriously (and I'm not trying to be overbearing) just saying, if logic is what you want, go get it!
Warning! As good as logic is, it will never have the "value" live has........

I would really like separate and "moveable" windows for:
-effects and racks (could be placed on another screen) ,
-midi sequences clips (better way to build a multi clip drums, or to match the bass to the kick, etc.)...
-session and arrangement views (2 screens would be nice...)
AND :
Enveloppe editor: better use (seems impossible to set a param value to ZERO, with the mouse is really hard...)
Ability to associcate video clips to audio/midi clips.
Better Live Looping facilities, with ability to return to arrangement point where it was left when jammin to session view.
+++ ciao ciao

OK here are my DEMANDS which must be included in Live 7
or else!
- allow 'samples' (traktion has had this since V1 !!!! )
- make it exactly like logic
- make it exacly like Live version 1, but different
- easier to open
- 'ask Sasha' animated buddy
- analogue warmth remover
- less percussive
- more 'professional'
- ego masseur with 'phatness'
- easier to crack, mine has timed out
- Exactly like cubase
- not at all like cubase
- cup holder
I have many more but these are the ones I NEED you to include in Live 7 now that you have actually finished developing it and this is a complete waste of everybody's time but most notably my own.
oh, wait I just found the cup holder on my computer , Sweet!

I don't know about the Medal of Honor, but if you want a Medal of Freedom cheap, call directory assistance, ask for Washington, D.C. and get the number for Mr. George Tenet. You may want to do this sooner than later. I'm not sure but I think he put it on craigslist.

No, first i have to screw up majorly in a position i shouldn't have been in in the first place.
I make sounds, so naturally I need to be appointed to chief of staff at the white house.
Then they'll blame me for a sex scandal.
Something about cheney shooting his load into jenna's face or something.
I'll resign, get the medal of freedom and replace wolfowitz at the world bank.
Then i get my asked kicked by senator schwarzenegger.
It all ends in a drinking binge with Ari Fleissher.

Yea, I have this recurring dream about the Bush trims, er twins. Fortunately Monica Goodling's taking the Fifth Amendment. Before anyone asks her a question. She should watch her brake cables. These people named Monica! And the moral of this story is don't bother looking toward what you're shooting at. That's what we learned in tactical. If a Bush rustles, just shoot it. If a Cheney tells the truth just shoot yourself. You will live forever. If only Ponce de Leon had known, he wouldn't of wasted his life sailing all over the place, getting scurvy and stuff.
And there went his political career . . .

When are we looking at for a release of Live 7 then? Anyone have any idea?
For Live 6.2 I'd like to see a nice bright red playhead position marker in the waveform view (it's small and black at the moment!?!).
For 7 I'd like to see the browser/file manager improved and made completely midi controllable without resort to midistroke/bomes.
