on another note i think this new chapter for live, max, and possible the lemur is going to rock!

I was in the process of buying Max/MSP when I heard about this. Wonder if I should hold off til I find out what this news will yield. Any thoughts?

Can't imagine that the product they're working on is likely to come out for a year and I would assume that it wouldn't be a directly competing product to MAX/MSP or Live. SO... one of you needs to write a Slicer VST that works within Live so we can get it in Live 8. And some midi tools, and... that's a whole 'nother forum.

isn't it possible that this is an april fools joke too? I've already heard about the reason one and the moogerfooger one.. couldn't this live 74 thing also be a joke?

plus as one of the other "campers" said earlier, we met a couple of the C74 guys there, I guess that was a subtle hint which was missed at the time
