Whoa! Just sayin is all! You're absolutely right. I'm probably more sensitive to it as my current rehearsal setup involves perching an AX-7 across one (X-stand), only clearing each end by about 1cmthe_viirus wrote:Its better than playing hunched over a table of gear!
I have not had any accidents like that....EVER!

as you say, it is an enormous 1/4" jack on a stand, but made with copper too. it makes a massive racket
it sounds like this :

That all goes on an x-frame keyboard stand.
In that pic, I have my iphone with Beatmaker, loaded with loops I made using Live, but sometimes I'll throw the laptop directly into that channel. I usually don't like to bring my laptop out, because the shows I tend to play can get a bit-- err-- rowdy? It's nice having everything in that roadcase for travel, and beacsue I can knock it around and nothing breaks or falls.
Here's an in-action shot:

And here's the set I did with this setup.
This is mine for the moment, this was after we finished rehearsing, hence the laptop being closed.
Got some more gear to work into there somehow.. got a KP3 which i NEED to use more.
Macbook 1.83ghz. Ableton Live 8
. Guitars and keys and retro sh*t.
