Support for MIDI processing/sending VSTs
What am I missing? It already has this. At least I have been able to use it, or am I missing something? Say sugarbytes ERA for instance. Put it on a channel, and from another midi channel, select the ERA channel as input, and select ERA in the chooser where you choose pre/post FX. Works for me...
??
If I put in a plugin like my enveloper

which changes sends out a CC that follows an audio stream, I have no way to make that control the distortion amount on a VST or native effect on that rack let alone the pitch of an impulse on another track.

Hmm, no. Doesn't seem to work for your plugin, even thoug you can set up the routing. Like this. Plugin on midi track. Select audio track to control it, choose the plugin as target in the audio tracks AudioTo-selector. For the midi track with the plug, in the Midi to dropdown, choose the midi track containing the instrument you want to control.

Doesn't seem to work though, although I have done similar routings with, among other, the SonicBytes ERA step sequencer, and that works just fine...

Actually, test it with this one:

And it works.

1) 128 vst limit parameters removed
2) record automation in session view
3) versatile lfo device assignable to onboard devices or vst.

extra: Add infinite amount to the length parameter in note length midi device. Very useful for running a few drones in the background. or a device that can just hold a note or a chord.

well since the faderfox support will be added in the coming live 7 update, I can scratch that from the list (thanks Abes). New list:

1: folder tracks
2: Wacom Support
3: Option to easily type in values for automation points. Dragging points with the mouse is NOT FUN!

1. Better connectively between Arrangement and session views: Ideally, you’d be able to take whole sections from arrangement into session and be able to launch it as a complete sequence. Large arrangement clips could then be easily rearranged in session and recorded back into arrangement view.

2. Another vote for automation recording in session.

3. Group Tracks: Not just for hiding tracks away but with a group lauch and stop (no stop) controls like a sub-scene. Perhaps even a group master clip for automation or envelopes.

3a Multitake audio and comping are getting a lot of votes. I think they could probably sit in a group track, so I get to vote for that as well.

3b. Once you have multiple audio lanes in a track, cross fades are easy, so I’ll have that too.
