Let's keep in mind these "hardworking white Americans" had no problem admitting they wouldn't vote for Obama because he's not from America and/or he's Muslim.

I think the media and polling have oversimplified the demographic split over the democratic nominee. Over her on the west coast I don't know a single person that doesn't support Obama.

I'm not buying it either. The University of Penn in Philadelphia...was more Clinton University than ANYTHING. It's a pretty expensive school, and more than enough of those students come from rich affluent families. Or so I believe. So much for the dumb redneck vote.



People assume that gays are mostly voting for Hillary. Not true...least not to what I've encountered in New York. Others believe Obama has the black vote completely on lock. Well if you know anything about black people...it has to be said that "SOME" blacks will do, say, and make themselves believe ANYTHING terrible about another black person on the comeup.


I've seriously witnessed some weak ass cases brought against Obama from blacks. One of the more popular is that he's a stooge put in place by "whitey" to use our votes to keep Clinton from becoming POTUS.

Thanks to all who have responded in this posting… regardless of being in agreement or disagreement, interest in world affairs is always important. After seeing so many posts, I couldn’t choose which ones to respond to, so instead I will list some of my opinions.

1.I don’t believe anyone thinks all of this country’ problems will be fixed just by electing a new president or even by having a democratically controlled government. History has showed that politics is a slow process on all levels.

2.I never have nor will I ever be content with a 2 party system. It forces a population to address complex social issues in a simplistic form. People in general (speaking worldwide) have much more potential for thought and choice than what is demonstrated by a 2 party system.

3.American politics is not limited to Americans, just as Americans are affected by world politics and the elected leaders of other countries. As the economies of all countries become more global, it’s in the best interest of all people to pay attention and take an interest in global affairs.

4.For those out there that continually point out how “fucked” we are by our ever increasing debt… for the moment, you’re absolutely right. This is why so many people “hope” for a change. Again, I don’t believe anyone thinks this will happen overnight, but getting on the right track is a start. This is not another “great depression” but it is a painful recession that affects global economies.

5.To many of us, electing a president is electing our representative. This is why I’m not mad at anyone for not liking Americans, when they believe we’re as simple minded as George Bush and his policies.
With that said I would like to remind everyone that people in general are not limited to political boundaries, race, color or religion. In every social grouping, culture or subculture you will find great people, ass-holes, heroes, liars and geniuses. The qualities of people are never limited to a specific region… sad but true, there is a “George Bush” in every country. When Idiots lead nations, it forces people to “hope” for something better and search out a plan for change.

True enough about McCain; although let's not forget that both he and John Kerry led the way in a tremendous bi-partisan effort to normalize relations with Vietnam - at a time when nearly all of his Republican counterparts were calling him a 'traitor' for doing so....


It's pathetic when the Republican leadership takes that kind of hardline position against our 'enemies'. They need only look to Nixon and his groundbreaking overtures to China for an example of proper diplomacy. Nixon took an absolute assraping from his fellow Republicans (and many Democrats in the House and Senate, in fact) for that move....

All these years later they're still Commies, but 99% of the shit in my house is made there. Woohoo!
