I had a Time Capsule for a spell. I found the HD in it way too slow for transferring or backup. So now I just go with the AirPort models. Same performance minus the cost adding slow ass drive.

hmmm... i guess i never bothered with it. it backs up and doesn't bother me. the backups are incremental and happen quietly in the background. baby's got back.

I use a regular HD connected to the Airport Extreme as a third back up here, slow but works fine for Time Machine stuff.

I have external drives attached to my Macs for Time Machine backup. On my Mini I have one external for all my media and another external that Time Machine backups both the internal drive and the other external.
And fuck you NI for causing me to originally type Maschine instead of Machine above.

Just hours after the new Mac Pro went on sale shipping estimates went from the end of December to February. That many people are forking out $3,000 minimum for a computer?

Or is it because they are being assembled by lazy Americans?

This morning I took the leap and deleted all the iOS apps on my iMac, 118G worth. I’ve been cloud syncing everything for a little while but had this gut feeling I might still need the copies on my iMac. Today I said fuck it!
I need to make room for K9U, the bastard supposedly takes up 300G+ (although I realize some of it is already on my drive from K9).

I’ll send you a single sample of the F key from Alicia Keys Piano to see what you come up with to determine if you are worthy of more samples.
