The problem with my forum is that everyone knows everyone else anyway, so they don't need a forum. Every Facebook status becomes a mini-thread. Plus half of them meet in real life. It always was more of a reunion than anything. Also people were very polite and judging by this forum, politeness isn't what 'sells'.

Why does the fact that Marx is dead mean I can't tell what is real? It's bullshit. The fact is that I am more aware of what's real than most people on this thread put together. Your statement is meaningless, literally. It has no meaning. If you are so good at telling what's real, tell us why I can't. I want concrete examples.

I mean, is Egypt in a revolutionary situation or not? What is the balance of forces there? What needs to be done? What is the likely outcome. Was I wrong to say don't trust the generals? Give specifics, not woolly meaningless twaddle.

I started getting involved in non music threads on this forum because I wanted to know what other people around the world thought of current events.
