iPad
Re: iPad
I was reading this thread on my iPad earlier while eating lunch outside at a local pub. Just then I looked up and right across the street I noticed the Chinese restaurant across the street was called Wongs Kitchen. No joke.
However then the waitress came to take my order and I forgot all about this thread, and did not get a picture. I will attempt again tomorrow.

HEY! Why didn't any of you fuckers tell me about virtual MIDI on iOS???
Hmmmmm??
For example I can use the sequencer in Beatmaker 2 to control Alchemy or Animoog, just the MIDI notes but at least I can tighten up some slop. Better still I can tinker around with parameter wankery since the sequencer is playing the notes.
That's just mean to keep in the dark like that for this long.

Re: iPad
Not bumping that thread about iPad music production in the other forum, but been checking out the info on Auria and Cubasis. Auria looks more PRO especially with the PRO plugins you can buy for it, but it looks like Cubasis is really trying to nail the MIDI angle with IAA and looking at the history of updates they look pretty dedicated to the app, some major features added every month or 2.
IAA is also making me look at effects apps more seriously. I never really saw myself using the iPad as an effects box for recording but now that you can do it all within the iPad it makes more sense to me.

Apple just announced a partnership with IBM for enterprise solutions.
Microsoft better double down on Xbox.

The new Apple campus better have a Jobs cathedral where you can sit and ponder his greatness.

THE END IS NIGH!
The Kim Kardasian: Hollywood app where you can be a virtual Hollywood douche has been out for less than 2 months and has a 5 star rating based on 58,000 user ratings. It’s estimated that she has already made tens of millions of dollars from it.

And this is why I could care less about military manipulation (as if it takes that much effort)

Re: iPad
Microsoft is laying off 18,000 employees and killing their short lived and never tested film and TV production division. Guess they need to trim the fat so they can laser focus on kickstand innovation.
