Re: iPad
Sony recently released the Album of the Day app that discounts an album every day up to 70% off. Today its Rage Against the Machine. Past days had Pearl Jam, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, and Michael Jackson. All purchases are made through iTunes.
Re: iPad
Yeah, I snagged the Rage album for $6. I thought I already had it but I guess I didn’t. The Britney and I think Michael Jackson albums were greatest hits and those are always good to get.

Re: iPad
I can't find the Sony Album A Day section of the already way too busy iTunes store, but if it's either of the 1st 2 Rage albums, 6$ after 70% off seems overpriced.
There is really too much going on in the Itunes Store. I don't like how the right bar cuts off the middle either. /bleh

Re: iPad
It's not a section. It's an app named Album of the Day. May be iPhone only but you should still be able to install it on an iPad.
The discount is "up to" 70% off.

Oof, I really shouldn't do this until I've had some chips and salsa (I'm literally having chips and salsa for breakfast).
So have you been using Match?

Re: iPad
I’ve been using Match for a while. The only real issue I’ve had recently with iTunes sync/Match is it doesn’t always automatically download new purchases to my living room Mini, but I think that might be more related to the fact that it’s a 2009 model. I’m constantly getting error messages, but I don’t really have the funds right now to replace a computer that’s essentially just a media server. At least with home sharing on I can stream music from any other Mac in our apartment.

Re: iPad
It wouldn't have to do with a sleep setting do you think...if the mini was in chill mode, maybe it's not taking orders for a bit..?
Re: iPad
I'm not sure what is causing it because even my MBA that I rarely have on doesn't have any issues automatically downloading the next time I fire up iTunes.

There’s an iPhone app named Push for Pizza. The concept is simple and brilliant. Link to your favorite pizzeria and enter your contact, address, and payment info. At this point you just have the choice of cheese or pepperoni pizza. Once setup you fire up the app and tap the Push for Pizza button and everything is sent to the pizzeria to have your pizza delivered.
The problem is it can’t seem to locate any pizzerias even in the largest and most techie cities. Not even Chicago and that place is made of pizza. I assume the pizzerias have to be on board and while it may seem like it would be great for business, they probably don’t want to deal with false pushes that would be way too easy.

Yeah I saw the commercial for that and thought that's pretty much how I would make it (the commercial). I was curious if they were going to do a pothead nod and sho nuff they did.
