4.2 is being delayed because of wifi issues. At best they are saying before Thanksgiving. Meh.

What are you fuckers doing? Not creating folders on your iPad while multitasking, printing, and streaming music to your stereo (except you, Rave).

Just wanted to use this opportunity to also bitch about iTunes' crippled share syncing. Most of my music purchasing and downloading takes place on my MBP but since I got the NI S4 I thought it would be rockin' to tool around with it on the Mini in the living room with the projector. But I have tons more music on my MBP (which I will also have to convert to mp3, fuck you very much Apple). I thought with the sync function of home share I would be able to have the music libraries on both machines mirror each other, but no. Fuck no. It will only mirror songs I buy from iTunes and only from the point I set it up, no going through old shit and transferring and nothing I got by other means.

I actually don't get this bullshit because it goes against the syncing principle of iTunes and iDevices. Doesn't matter how you got the content or when. As long as the format can be read and you tell it to sync your whole library or part of it, it will mirror.

I have a lot of manual dragging and dropping to do this weekend.

Yes, the sync issue is SHIT and I've just gone through the drag and drop dance. It's not that bad I suppose, but still.

It's in the same Pain In The Ass Family as: Why the fuck can't I sync my iPad/iPhone over wifi or 3G? Uber. Fucking. Fail.
