Got my first iOS 8 bug. Was using the Maps app in my car with my phone in landscape mode. At some point it automagically switches to portrait mode and you have to swipe to unlock it to put it back into landscape mode. And repeat.

Just did and it worked. deleted an email, shook it, and then it brought up a box asking me if I wanted to undo the delete. I did and it did.

PRO TIP: When you delete an email it goes to the trash folder. Find it in the trash folder and push it back to your inbox using the folder icon at the bottom.

In unrelated news, an unusually loud humming noise was heard emanating from Alta Mesa Memorial Park today, residents say it sounds somewhat like a dynamo, or generator, spinning incredibly quickly. Cemetery staff were unavailable for comment.

Phewwww. Just got my iPhone 6 case. Not the prettiest or thinnest case I’ve ever seen but I feel a lot more secure against bumps and scratches.

It’s way too early for true quality iPhone 6 cases and a single manufacturer (Spigen) is dominating Amazon on iPhone 6 cases that are available now (not in 3 weeks). What’s worse is the case reviews for all their models show for every model so you don’t know which ones people are bitching about. I think I had to go about 6 pages deep before I found a case that is available now, not a tank, and isn’t manufactured by Spigen.

The fucking App Store locked up on me when I tried to download the Yosemite beta and now every time I try it says the beta code has already been redeemed.

I must admit the ios8 update is pretty impressive.
