We can complain about how cheap music tools has made it possible for anybody and everybody to churn out passible music, but that pales in comparison to the countless talented photographers, painters, and graphic artists who were replaced by a digital filter that takes 2 seconds to apply. :x

More midi sequencers. This one should be verrrry easy to grasp for Ableton Live users. But, what sets it apart from Genome?

I just bought Thor. An hour of my day has disappeared into it :P

Thor is one of my favourites on the iPad, and of you like semi-modular type synths then it's well worth the the discounted price.
I can happily sit for hours making horrible noises on that synth

I'd use that synth constantly if only you could turn off that silly white line for every parameter you touch.

Yeah. I am passing on Nave. Z3ta isn't on sale, but that is one I am keeping an eye on, along with the iPad version of Magellan.

Sunrizer is still also one of my favorites. The iPad version is only a slight step up but the possibilities overwhelm me :)

Back to Thor, it is really hard to beat 3x oscillator sources that can be pretty heavily modulated, plus sync, which can each be one of a lot of possible types of generators. I'm almost sick haha

So by passing on Nave, am I missing out on something heavy? Or is it a reasonable decision?

The strangest thing is that I am getting more use out of Xenon lately than anything else. I've had it forever but the simplicity and multitumbral quality keep me coming back. I can use it within its self for sequences or have a sequencer trigger multiple channels.

I have a lot to sort through as I get more cozy with the iPad.

Personally I chose Nave over Thor, the interface just works better for me even though it has some UI issues too. Either is a top synth though, can't go wrong. Ditto Sunrizer, that's always on my iPad just in case :)
