Re: iPad
There should totally be a reality show about beats' apartment: Hoarding The Apple - a shocking yet fascinating look at one man's obsession with owning every single Apple product.

THIS. At last count 43 registered products.
Recently picked up a S61 keyboard supposedly brand new from a retailer but to my horror when I went to register it, it said it was already registered to somebody else. Since its hardware it shouldn’t be a future update problem but I want it added to my long list of registered products on the NI support page. I wrote support and await their response. What a horrible way to end 2014.
Re: iPad
It’s ironic there’s a floating ad on Macrumors.com that stays on the page no matter how much you scroll and you can’t close it. Ironic because it’s for a Windows laptop.
It might have to do with the fact that my work updates Flash once every 50 years instead of the daily updates they seem to release. Is there ever a Flash update that doesn’t revolve around making ads even more annoying?

Re: iPad
I really don’t care what people use for a phone but when they repeatedly ask me how I like my iPhone and repeatedly say “Yeah, I think I’ll get one when my contract is up” and then show up with a phone that isn’t an iPhone I’m
. From now on I’m just going to respond with “They’re shit, get something else”.
And then they’ll show up with an iPhone.
And then they’ll show up with an iPhone.
Re: iPad
I’ve concluded that for people who aren’t techy or brand loyalists all it takes is for somebody to show off some gimmicky feature on their phone and then they’ll run out and buy that.

When I click on the link in a streaming app to buy the song I'm listening to in iTunes
¼ the time it takes me to the song.
¼ the time it crashes the iTunes app.
¼ the time it can’t find the track (if there’s a “(“ in the title you’re fucked 90% of the time).
¼ the time over the last 2 weeks it goes straight to the new Madonna album available for preorder.

And I can’t believe Madonna is doing more songs about drugs again. She’s like 70 years old. I'm rescinding my pass from the last album thinking it was a fluke.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about what the best phone/app/service thing has been lately is the 20,000 songs from my library that's gone to Google Play cloud. Its Instant Mixes feature works pretty nicely, too. So, no longer worrying about not having something on me if it came to mind when I have my dj privileges somewhere.
A near 2nd is being able to cast from phone to tv. Not sure how well Apple handles it but it's working well on vanilla Android.
So are you going to stick with them no matter how fall they far behind?

What do you mean? With iTunes Match and iCloud Drive I can get to any kind of file from any device.shadx312 wrote:The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about what the best phone/app/service thing has been lately is the 20,000 songs from my library that's gone to Google Play cloud. Yeah but how many free songs or space do you get with Match and how much with iCloud (5gb?) meh
though I suppose you don't experience as many crashes as beats?
