The staggering amount of available build materials and watch band combos is clearly Cook’s first gayovation.

Or a Fairlight CMI III for $40. But then I pull out the Fairlight CMI manual from my manual PDF stash, revisit how iffy the UI was (though some apparently liked it a lot at the time) and lust cured. :D

It’s great that long established music hardware and software companies are making iOS versions of their products, but I think some of them are getting a little bold with their prices, especially if they are mostly a hardware manufacturer and comparatively have close to zero overhead for software versions. Just because a hardware version is $1,000 doesn’t mean $50 is a justifiable or attractive price.

If nothing else they aren’t going to win over any new users with their high prices. It will mostly be legacy users who still want to believe there’s nothing better available. Well, maybe there is and for cheaper.

I think the comparisons between apps and vsts is most interesting. Vsts also have versions of classic hardware.

Apps vs vsts each have their own paradigms but the differences are becoming more and more blurred.

I really want Zeta.. !! (Just waiting for a price drop haha)

Edit: maybe a good concept as a developer would be to sell the vst AND app in one go. The app might be overpriced but would have a unique registration code for a vst version. Or if you purchase the vst you can d/l the app.

I think at least one developer (possibly the now defunct Camel Audio) gave you discounts on expansion packs for Alchemy if you already owned a version, don’t remember if it was buy the desktop version and get a discount on the iOS version or the other way around.

HOW THE FUCK DO I GET DROPBOX TO SHOW UP IN MY FAVORITES IN THE FINDER?!?!?! :x :x

I keep reading this useless "drag and drop" response

http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1812420

There's no damn dropbox folder to drag and drop anywhere on my computer. I have a Dropbox application in my applications folder but when I go to drag and drop it to my favorites nothing happens. The only way I can access dropbox is from an app in the menu bar at the top. Doesn't show up as a folder anywhere else.

When I go to "Save as" dropbox doesn't show up anywhere as an option. It used to. I'm on Mavericks.

FUCK! :x

Open Live or some other program or some shit. When you go to save and it asks you where to save the file how do you save it directly to a folder on dropbox?

Titan. If their history with iPhone releases is any indication of their quality control, I'm sure they'll end up with some kind of flub that no one would ever have imagined possible to go wrong on a vehicle.

The difference between phones and vehicles is of course that one his held in a person's hand, the other has a person inside of it.

So, I think it is cool. And I'm sure that after extensive testing to reach an automotive standard they'll have something hopefully ideal. Price and practicality will be curious factors. Plus the testing methods for phones (trying to rush through the process to make a release date), vs cars (expensive lab crash tests and road tests for miles) are probably vastly different price points.

I'm trying to recall, are they working on a van type thing? I could see them doing a sports car. A van would be daring.

I seriously hope they aren’t working on a car. I’d rather them partner with Tesla. If they are I think it’s another fine example of living in the Silicon Valley bubble, and a bubble inside that bubble of only associating with people that can afford this shit, completely oblivious to the poverty around and caused by them to a large extent.

Apple bought Camel Audio. 8O :)

Now we’ll wait 4 years for Apple to turn their collective knowledge and development into a single filter knob in the ESX24 sampler. :x
