Apple Watch will be shower proof. Is this really a thing? People strip off all their clothes to take a shower but taking off their watch is inconceivable?

So are you getting an Apple Watch, LSZ? Can’t say I won’t, but it certainly won’t be a release day purchase. Usage is still a big mystery, although Apple will probably throw another keynote to show us more usage possibilities. But I can’t imagine they are going to show anything that’s going to make me do my usual release day 12:01 AM, credit card in hand, hitting refresh 90 times on their site while it fails routine.

If Apple is really selling a watch, a Microsoft Wall Clock must be around the corner. (With the numbers on the wall side.) But an electric car from the iPhone folks?... is it a car with a battery that runs down fast, a GPS that sends me into a lake, serviced for double cost because I'm a "smart" user?
(Just kidding, just kidding...

Windows 8 was born when a prankster from Apple convinced Microsoft that users wish every Windows UI element was hidden from them. The Apple Watch was born when some prankster from Microsoft convinced Apple that users shower talking into their watches. 1:1

Yes, Apple is going to take every example of historical poor execution and bundle it all into a car.
FFS.
Still annoyed a full car is even being talked about...like the full Apple TV. Where's that? Oh yeah, it doesn't exist. Apple isn't in the low profit margin business.
Although, I will be done paying off my current car the year this is rumored to be in production or released.

Just an update to the
If Microsoft Built Cars Net evergreen. Frankly, as it morphed from a computer co to a music retailer to a phone reseller to a watch company, there is really no guarantee what Apple will be selling next. Maybe apples, if they only figure a way how to put their logo on.

It’s kind of reminding me of GE which started out with just electricity and then got their hands in many baskets, many still that people aren’t aware of.
Whether Apple is going to make a car or not, I think there is a Silicon Valley competition to push green energy and technological advancement on the planet and one-up each other in the process because old world business couldn’t give less of a shit and is more than happy to bleed the planet of what has made them money thus far.

Of course the other major step is making sure the sources of are electricity are extremely efficient, clean, and relatively unlimited.
A lot of our current electricity is from dirty sources. But still probably cleaner than fuel.

The car is never going to go into full production.
FFS.
It's going to be used as a 'proof of concept' for various Apple initiatives; not the least of which will be the entire entertainment system, home connection, monitoring efficiencies, etc etc.

your hope in cleaner energy arguments is endearing... I predict 500 dollar a month electric bills for one bedroom apartments in the future. When capitalism drives the bus, the search for the knock of opportunity's knuckles is only as welcome as the nines and commas in the bottom line of the spreadsheet.
