Ok, watched The Machinist last night.....WOW!! That movie is great! My favorite psychological horror movie since Memento. Bale is astounding, and it really made me feel that spacey dream-like state you feel after being up for a long time. Fascinating movie!

Bale probably wasted more money in terms of lost productivity due to his temper tantrum than the guy who accidentally screwed up. Bitch and moan after the work is done, not while your working. It makes Bale look like a fucking baby.

Theatrical legend Dame Judi Dench has little tolerance of tantrum-throwing thesps.
Commenting on Christian Bale's notorious on-set rant – currently doing the rounds on YouTube – she remarks:
"I have never seen a tantrum on a film set. Not ever. Ever. Certainly not while I have been around. I don't think it happens very often."

Nurses help doctors, they don't perform surgery or prescribe medicine, which is why I said Doctors would have it that stressful, but not nurses - nurses aren't allowed to handle life and death situations, they hand doctors whatever they ask for while the doctors handle life and death situations.
because administering medical care and physical/emotional support to sick people, including terminally ill patients and their families is a walk in the park

I'm amazed that the director didn't step in at some point. Surely he's supposed to be the boss on set, not the actors.
Anyway, Christian Bale still fucking rules
