just yanking your chain man, just yanking your chain.

his eye patterns are tighter than a fish's butt. his power supplies don't have ripple, they have tsunamis. he went to HALT testing and returned before he left.
I too in real life have a very low tolerance for bullshit, and it goes both ways.
this place is turning into the newborn infant ward.

I think they meant AWOL. It's an acronym from Absent WithOut Leave. Not sure how it applies here, and to be honest it seems a bit off topic if you asked me.

Thank you for that reply.
I mean, i can plainly see your just yanking my chain, having a bit of fun with me. No need for this place to be moderated, were all pals in here and its all banter.
So you wont mind if i call you a Cowardly little F**k whos hiding behind a computer screen thinking its smart to chip in with just the exact type of post that i think is ruining this forum.
The poll talks for itself, around 1/3rd of people who voted do not feel its acceptable.
So its not just me, but lots of you guys have turned it into another slanging match, in almost all the replies...there were only a little positives that i felt came out of it.
Also, yes ok....maybe i should lighten up a little, if this is the general lingo and the way people talk to each other online....even if i do find it pretty cheeky and offensive, i still dont find it acceptable...I think there is an aweful lot af abuse handed out by people hiding behind a computer screen that is uncalled for.
So i guess ill prepare to get the sh*t ripped from me again for the next 7 pages....Do your worst guys.

I don't take the ad-hominen attacks personally, that part doesn't offend me as much as the general tone. By that I mean I get a vibe from the post that I want to repel.
Let me put this to you.
Let's suppose you want a job at a company and they ask for personal references.
You mention that you were extremely helpful on the Ableton forum and tell them your screen name.
Would you want them to go reading through all your posts?
The Internet stuff stays around for a long time.
For example, back in 1994 I had a web site on electronic music, you can still read it here:

omfg lighten up.
BORING!
are going to keep ranting about your past? it's getting old.
edit - that's the great thing about being a nerd, fuck social skills, hire me because I'm experienced. any company that would give a shit about my forum posts wouldn't be worth working for. my coworkers know I post, and I talk to them like I talk to you assholes. it's better though, because we don't try to bullshit each other and don't go around whining about our fucking
feelings.

I'm sure many people voted in your favor accidently, as I am unsure if it is even possible to get piss taken from me in this forum (could be a translation issue).
But I strongly recommend checking this out:
http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=98872
You should note that they
recomendpeople be nice and polite to eachother. I agree wholly with this, as I am sure the majority of good folks do. But Ableton will not police this forum. We all hate jerks and trolls, but they're the only ones that have the spare time to do what you suggest.

This is not about music in the 'usual' sense. You have to be a little weird to feel at home in here...
let it loose.
wait... 'ad hominem attack' when the hell did I attack you?

wannabe victim, this is creepy.
