woo, hey that's really good ! 79 euros for upgrading from max5 ! very happy !

I just miss a kind of "upgrading both from live 7 to Live 8 suite and from max 5 to m4l EDU price", but that might be to much to ask.

I haven't seen before, that there was an edu price for the L7 to live8suite upgrade. so, upgrading + max for live will "only" cost 320 euros. I'm really satisfied !

$800 for Live 8 & MfL
$1100 for the Suite & MfL

Max/MSP is $400 on its own

stringtapper wrote:The most expensive Live instruments are $159, so considering M4L's feature set compared to those instruments it's undoubtedly going to be more than $159. $99 is surely out of the question.

I'm still betting on $299 for non-Max 5/Pluggo license holders. I'd say $149 for Max 5 users.
I win on the full price!

And I was $50 dollars over on the upgrade price for Max 5 users.

Nice! So what's your guess on Pluggo owners discounts? My hope is something generous like $175, my guess is something like $225. Pluggo was around $199, so upgrade pricing schemes are usually around $75 for that range.

It's basically a DAW/toolkit/set of plug ins within Live. Max/MSP is all a lot of people use to perform live, no other DAW needed. I'm surprised it's $100 cheaper than the cheapest Max/MSP retailer. With that in mind it's possible to get it for less than $299 when it comes out. :)

Gotten any response to your email about this?

I'd say $199 for Pluggo users. You're getting a lot more than just the ported Pluggos out of M4L.
