Thanks Tone deft for your kind words, although I don't understand everything. BTW, I don't know what FFS is. Sorry for the OT.

'Re-define' usually means that they understood what the fuck they were talking about in the first place.

Coltrane's later period free jazz work by comparison was much more free form. My point being..both are considered "improvisational" though each has a different approach.
Those trying to pigeon hole this or that as being what improv truly is are a bit myopic in their view if you ask me.
Yeh Miles Davis was miles ahead.

Found some that could have been made in Ableton.

Dont like Coltranes free jazz that much, think he got too repetitive and eventually boring and whining.

Early Coleman is much better I think.

I like music that sounds like being improvised, improvising itself doesnt guarantee anything.

It's also ethnocentrism to think that a culture should adapt to your culture. This is the internet after all.
Education is a good thing. This is handy for all abbreviations the internet language is all in here.

no, since you want to call names, it's assuming people have the basic common sense to use google. there's little sense in asking what words mean anymore, you can even translate entire paragraphs from other languages into your own language.

there's no harm in asking what it means but check yourself before calling people ethnocentric.

jazz is for people that play it or jackasses that want to appear sophisticated.
