Yes, go see it! Tip: At the Cienestar Potsdamer Platz Kino 3 do not sit closer to the screen than row G !!!!!! The 3D stuff looks most convincing with a bit distance to the screen.

all the negative opinions without seeing it? only on the whiny Ableton forum.

I was skeptical, I thought the avatar concept would be a plot vehicle to jump the shark. I saw it in 3D and liked it. definitely a movie to go to the theater and junk out on. I doubt I'd ever rent it or buy it when it comes out on DVD/BluRay.

I kept thinking to myself that the video game of the movie would be ahhhwsum!! L1 and R1 buttons to walk under the waterfall and I go learn to fly a character in the movie with L3 and R3. TBH there weren't any MAJOR plot complications that bugged me and I enjoyed the story, the 3 hours in the theater including previews went by OK. still, I can't tell you the name of any of the characters.

the ending was a reverse Blade Runner of sorts (it's no Blade Runner.) the human becomes synthetic.

people are overthinking it, it's just good fun in the theater.

more whining.

when you're the moderator, have at it. until then, learn what you're writing about before ranting about it. you have a problem with that.

...Annalee Newitz over at i09.com has a tight little essay called, “When Will White People Stop Making Movies Like Avatar?” and a Google search of the words “Avatar” and “racist” results in hundreds of hits. For each article that explores this idea, there’s unavoidably at least one apologist/commenter who offers something to the extent of, “It’s just a movie. Stop over-analyzing it.”

Think this will help a lot because they would be more relaxed due to the fact that Live 1.5 has got less bugs & crashes than Live 8.1. :D

of course i am not serious! if we would send everyone who behaves (insert anything here) to the Fellrow Archipels or to the Obstanium mines at the outer moons of Segor we would become a travel agency and not a software company anymore...

 but Mom!!! he started it!!!

this is gonna be a crowded island.

downloading this movie from teh interweb is completely the wrong move. it's not a movie you watch for the plot, it's a movie you watch to have fun in a theater.

the one thing that bugged me in the movie was watching Sigourney Weaver take a sample with a pipette, hold the pipette upside down, then she punches a button with the pipette tip and then stores the sample, COMPLETELY TAINTED!!

interesting article posted above. cliches are new to people at some point in their lives, the author is getting old. the movie is for kids and it's important to teach these lessons to kids.

jeez, you just took the words of my tongue... i just wanted to say, that after a second thought, i actually would like to take the offer, because at least i could use live right now.

until a damn working version comes up again. and i eat meat as well, so it's all sorted! i take the offer. and can continuing making music (stress free) instead.

that was a serious shot into the own food, my friend.
