Still wish it wasn't called iPad.
1 You Americans won't be able to tell when someone is talking about their iPod or their iPad.
2 When you tell your mum "I've got an iPad!" she'll expect you to come home wearing a black eye patch like a pirate.

Ha ha, it's so easy to wind up an American. I expect you'll invade Scotland now after I made that comment.

Sorry, my mistake, you already invade Edinburgh every August.
I challenge you to a Vowel Contest.

I really have no hate for jazzmutant. I have more hate on the people who think Apple is overpriced but a lemur is reasonably priced. The rich music hipster. I know, 2 different companies with way different cash stockpiles, or lack of, but I'm going purely on possibilities versus cost.
I think jazzmutant should really make a deep lemur type app for the ipad. I'd probably pay something like $40-$50 for it which is pretty high in the world of app prices but I think the ipad is going to increase the pricing structure in general and also jazzmutant does deserve some money for thier efforts past, present, and future. I don't see how they can even compete if they don't jump on the third party touch screen market.

Either that or see if they can reverse-engineer the Lemur to run an internet browser and a spreadsheet application. Lemur obviously made a revolutionary step forward in a niche area of multi-touch control, I think Apple have taken that physical interface a big step forward. Jazzmutant is probably badly hurt by this. But yeh I'd love some kind of Lemur app for iPhone.

just killing some time. the Edinburgh Festival scene from Trainspotting is enough to keep me away.

Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh...
Jazz Mutant doesn't have to make anything. it's gotta be really damn simple to make an application that lets you move shapes with your finger and send out OSC.

Ha ha, see I told ye!
I guarantee there will be problems... inevitably there will be a call from the GF saying "honey I'm REALLY sorry, I dropped your iP-d down the toilet" "What! iPod or iPad bitch! WHICH ONE?!"
Just remember... Glasgow is much friendlier than Edinburgh...

Well worth a visit.

Ha, but there's a guy on gdgt right now saying he would have preferred "Apple Canvas". Now that's funny.
