When I bought an mp3 player I bought an iPod.
If I get a smart phone it will almost certainly be an iPhone.
If I buy a tablet thingy I will probably buy an iPad.
Apple makes good stuff.

But I will concede that the latest Sanza is a fine little device.

lol. I can't wait to get my 3G iPad. I'm very curious. I'm still even more curious about the HP Slate and will pick one up promptly. Those motherfuckers over at HP had better hit this out of the park with the Slate or, goddamit, that's the last non-Apple device I'm ever going to even spit at let alone consider. Rat fucks.

chrome is awesome, but sucks for anyone who's using ff for it's web developer support.

no firebug, no "web developer add-on" equivalent, etc.

otherwise, chrome is by far the better of the two browsers. a lack of update pop-ups being among it's flagship "features", ha

And for the best internet browser, I vote Opera - who innovated nearly every feature that other browsers implemented:

tabbed browsing
mouse gestures
integrated email and bittorrent clients
user css
private browsing
integrated search
pop-up blocking
small screen rendering
voice control
user javascripts
etc, etc.

Despite it's 1.6% market share, pretty much every major browser innovation was conceived by Opera, and it currently has the fastest javascript rendering. I love it! Try it!

I've always loved Opera, but I haven't used it for a simple reason - that it does things just a bit funny...like when foruming, I have to tab differently, or when on gmail, I have to click around and not just tab-tab-enter to send and what not...

but yeah, I've always wished that browser well because it does stay well ahead of the trend, if not actually setting it.

Yeah, comfort zones are important - I was forced onto Firefox at work, and had the hardest time getting accustomed to it, it seemed like everything needed an extra click! I s'pose if Opera ever got huge, the venture capitalists would rush in, and next thing you know it'd be all mucked up.
