Hopefully this week subscribers will benefit from the new encoders features, we've also made them entirely separate from any other device in the template so you can use it in your own templates if you wish...

First shot of the new scene three, the configurable buttons scene that takes over half of the APC40 and allows you to map it to whatever you want....

Features Include:

1, Toggle or Momentary button behaviour...

2, Full lighting control of the APC40

3, Sweep between on and off values with the time feature

4, Dynamic or Fixed mapping, fixed works by selecting a parameter and always controlling it, dynamic on the other hand allows you to map to a parameter on a track and then have the control follow the CLip Launch Retangle so always applying to the first four tracks in focus.

5, Up to 8 banks of controls selectable from the APC40

6, MIRA option for the iPAD of all the above features for subscribers who have Cycling 74's MIRA app....

In this release, Isotonik NINE.FIVE we've re-written from scratch the core code that communicates with the APC40 and controls all of the lighting…

With this release you'll see improvements in response times and we've fixed a number of intermittent faults…

Along with completely re-writing the Looping functionality, for rock solid performance!

Isotonik NINE.SEVEN...

Locked away in the basement to film the first in a series of videos demonstrating the features of Isotonik. . .

48 Hours later and not one minute of filming done...

Our challenge has always been to make the experience of using Isotonik as enjoyable as possible, this includes setting up the template. . .

So now our initialisation process is very clear, open the template and watch the APC40 for the countdown!

We've also added a few new features as well. . .

1, Transform Buttons - These move Lives crossfader using the transport buttons, disabled by default but brought back to standard functionality with Shift held down, the rate of how quickly Lives crossfader moves to the left centre and right positions and back to the APC40's crossfader position is determined by the Master Volume Fader. . .

2, Select without Launch - Hold down the Stop All Clips button and choose a clip launch button and you'll bring that clip into view without launching it. You'll need to hold down Shift and the Stop All Clips button to Stop all the clips!

3, Smart Effects - the bottom right button of Scene Two is lit to send the audio through the chosen Smart Effect, when unlit it'll send the audio signal through dry enabling you to use the Smart Effect to create a build and then switch the audio back to dry and allow the build to fade away gradually. . .

In the process of filming the third video we've resurrected a missing feature from Isotonik 8...

You can now modify a playing clips pitch on the fly and have it copy to the next clip down when using the Follow and Pitch Device...

We then demonstrate the third scene that gives the user editor functionality to the APC40 allowing up to four banks to be programmed, mapping to any parameter and giving control over:

1, Minimum and Maximum values
2, Colours of the APC40 Buttons
3, Glide time for on and off
4, Momentary or Toggle behaviour of the buttons
5, Dynamic Mapping so that the chosen mappings follow the Clip Launch Rectangle (Redbox)
