From the sonic state video, it's going to be cooler for being able to use it as a VST. Reminding me of the Sugar Bytes Egoist with a cool interface.

I'm not sure that a VST is what they're talking about, the sound can be routed into Ableton Live via a soundcard....
Or all of the MIDI data from the sequencer can be sent into it via USB....

Let's see about that, but to have more parameters for the synth part is going to be nice.

I hardly touch my laptop. Ever (weeks and months at a time). I've been all iPad lately. I think it's because there are no wires, and a built in speaker.
I wouldn't mind if this thing sacrificed some weight and used a different kind of battery. Something rechargeable via USB. But I'm sure that'd make the price sky-rocket for a feature that most people wouldn't find to be of value.
So many options out there right now! I blame Korg

I'm just happy more companies are releasing grooveboxes, by far my favorite way of making music

It's going to be cool if the Circuit can be used as the launchpad app controller, specially if it can run together as a complete portable system.

Lick it. Tell me how it tastes. It looks kinda appetizing.
After that, see if it can handle syncing to an electribe

Send me an electric and i'll tell you
Size wise, it goes from the left edge to the right edge of the touchpad on a 15" macbook, it's a fat thumb deep...
Filter Knob (far right) is big and has a centre detent....
Above all so far it's totally intuitive as to how to make changes etc. the Macro Knob are obviously unlabelled so i've had fun experimenting so far, i'm sure i'll learn them in time...
Couple of bits that i will read the manual for but overall i was into a groove within 5 minutes...

Hmm, it doesn't look very good.
You should probably throw it away.
Just chuck it in an envelope and throw it away, into a postbox. Just put any old address on it. If you can't think of one I'll sugest one.

Errgh..endless rotary encoder pls, it won't be that hard. I love the feeling since the MicrowaveXT days.
Sounds great so far, how's the instrument feel..will it survive a heavy finger? How's the overall build quality, hopefully it's going to be as good as the launchpad pro. Specially for finger drumming.
