Midi controller min and max settings for everything
This one is really nice!
I had to lower the volume (-6db) of every audioclip in my livesets. because i wanted to prevent that live clips when i fade in fast a new track with my midicontroller.
In fact that means that all track volumes in the mixer were +6db and every clip had to be lowered for -6db.
Now there is even less work to do preparing a liveset!
Cool!

Ditto, the same reason I was happy about this feature! Of course now we can change parameters for multiple clips anyway, but good to have more than one option.

Can you also configure the same key / button twice?
E.g. one key which is mapped to mute and solo or (eq3's) lo-kill and hi-kill?

No, just tried it.
But i don't get how this would be usefull anyway?
If you could have asigned one key to mute an solo, the track can't be muted and playing solo at the same time...

he means that you could solo and activate a kill on an eq at the same time from one key press.

or maybe to launch to clips on different scenes and tracks at the same time - or mute the drums while turning on the hipass filter... etc..etc..etc.. assigning one source to multiple destination within the program would be super-cool.

MrTom wrote:If you assign midi controllers to clip properties (volume, pitch, loop start etc), the controllers are assigned to the currently selected clip.
Pitch is a sample property and handled differently: The assigned midi controller addresses the playing clip on the selected channel.
wish: I think it would be better if you could assign one continues midi controller for every channel. Quite often you like to change the pitch simultaneously for clips playing on different channels and that is not possible now.

Machinate wrote:you can enable the external sync button, even when there's no sync going on. Why, you might ask? Well it disables the space bar!
I know some people will be happy about this feature...
disables the space bar!
Dammit! That's great value!!!

I must immediately try out if I can do that although I mostly run Live as midi clock sync master...

Or simply right-click!

(need a logitech mouse)
