Yeah it is. Although we are short of two pots. I have to express my thanks to my mate Warren who has done all the CAD. He is currently working on rendering the final design

how much do you think this will cost? my custom build is rocking up at around 650 euros without the housing or face plate and it only got 48 encoders. i can see it breaking 800 euros before im done.

It actually was not that much longer. Its just because we have been trying to fit this in around the birds and jobs etc.

I think the electronincs were 100 pounds and the faders and buttons come to 235 pounds. We got some really nice Panasonic faders which are just smooooooooooooooth!

I reckon it will come in under 500

don't worry man, that shit takes a lot of time. Besides, it's a hobby project, you don't rush those.

Hopefully my chum who is an engineer type electronics dude, is callingin a favour. I think the top panal is going to be 2 ply- black on top and white underneath. The artwork gets put into CAD and then a laser etches the black away to reveal the white. I would like to print onto a metal casing but i think this is gonna be costly. Anyway, it could go either way. I have noticed in the past that sweat can wear away paint on commercially available mixers. Wouldn't want that to happen Eeeeeek!
