HEY ABLETON can you bring back the edit button?
or, put an edit option in the context menu - it should not have to be two steps.
even if you got to the file menu then to manage files, then to manage set, then to view samples...
what the heck?

heh, I went to edit a sample in wavelab (first time needing to use wavelab in ableton 6, and lo and behold - - - where's the bloody edit button??

This thread (and others like it) dates back to when Live 6 was first released. There have been updates and fixes since then, but in spite of the fact 90% in this poll voted for the EDIT button to be returned, it has not been.

how many people who are indifferent to the issue do you think are going to vote at all. most of the people who voted are the people who want it back, the odds are you never heard from the tons of people who don't care. so 90% doesn't really say much I think.
