This is not a feature that would be important to me but i can clearly see how important this would be for many people. I remember when I first got live a few years ago and thought it would be a dead cert I could record automation inside clips. that was version 2. now coming to v7 and its still not there

but at least you got drum racks and automation lanes so instead of performing and recording your performaces live as you feel them which is the idea behind Live you can do it all in linear mode with your drum racks and extra automation lanes

I think this is an important feature. The two track workaround is a pita.

Oh yes, most definitely. If you're going to do any live stuff with Live, then this is a must. But screw that, it's a must anyways...

This would be incedible. It is a missing link between pattern sequencing and live recording.

Hi, now it´s time for some changes. I am the one who postulated this since Life 5. But, no reaction till some weeks ago. The say they have to roll up the whole program for that and it´s planned for some future release. Hallelujah.
