Alesis SR-16 (OK fine it's a ROMpler but still)
And of course my bass guitar. It has made appearances on a good percentage of my music. It's technically hardware.
The SR16 is a wonderful unit, always liked mine when I had it. It has plenty of functions in there for shaping sounds - layering, pitch-shift and panning. 4 outs is also very handy if you're sending out the kick and the snare sounds out separately to external processing.
If we're talking all hardware I also have a P Bass - chinese squier, mind, but with a Bare Knuckle pickup installed. I also have 6 electrics, an acoustic and a violin.

I'm using Moog Little Phatty Tribute, it's MIDI + Gate + Vol CV +Pitch CV + Filter CV

Hee hee, nice one. Wasn't Brian Eno involved in producing the Microsoft jingle? Watch out he might sue...
Now that I did not know, but you're quite right:

Now, if we're talking all hardware, I also have a Japanese made Ibanez SR800 bass - beautiful instrument.
On my wishlist is a Juno 106, but I tend to prefer soft-synths nowadays - they are much lighter for a London based fellow who relys on public transport and the generosity of fellow band members to heft his kit around.

Evolver desktop and Voyager Rack over 'ere
Used to sequence them from Live, now I slave everything to a Machine Drum..

Live is my main sequencer/DAW for remixing and original music. Use Cubase 4 for some stuff and post production. I also use a MachineDrum alot for pattern sequencing of synths.
Most fx and processing I use are plugins, but do run a bunch of hardware fx.
All synths are hardware except for Stylus RMX for programmed drum and loops, and cameleon that I use as a sound morpher rather than as a conventional synth - dont use any other soft synths.
Well over 4 synths - oops
See sig for studio.

i sample my synths until i get bored with them and then i sell them and buy other ones. i only keep my samplers and other digital and acoustic recording material such as mics and soundcards and mixers etc... If i come across a nice effect unit, i keep that as well

Moog Voyager
SCI Prophet 5 3.3
Arp Odyssey
Moog Source
Apart from the Voyager they're all a bit poorly.

I have them connected thru kenton pro2000 converters, with the latency per channel setting live works nice with my old honeys.
The only thing i'm wishing for the last years is the ability to name the cc 1 tm 127 parameters on the miditracks in live, this would make my life a LOT simpler

Quite a few. Like someone else mentioned, I'm also using a Kenton Pro-2000 with the DCB option.
SH-101, Mono/Poly, Juno-60 are all controlled with the Pro-2000
They all have filter cutoff controllable with CV through the Pro-2000 also.
The Pro-2000 sends DIN SYNC to a MC-202, TB-303, TR-606
The Pro-2000 sends a click track to a Moog MuRF step input.
All in all the Kenton does a lot of behind the scenes work, and works flawless. When controlling all those pieces inside Live or any DAW, you forget they aren't midi.

haa! you're so going to love that unit..
one golden tip;
the evolver clips very fast..
8 out of 10 times the VCA level is too high..
if you use all 4 osc's you might want to lower each osc's volume a bit as well..
other than that; very powerful box..

thanks..

Thanks man, noticed that last night in fact. This box is wicked, as both a playable synth, and portable groovebox (err... for a monosynth). The Seq's are killer on this, nice filters too.

I'm actually not a fan of arpeggio's. So I can't really comment. I use software sequencing and trigger it through cv/gate. It 'does' have a clock input though, and in theory, you can use a click track although I've never used it that way.
My guess is that it would be pretty darn tight. It's just receiving a pulse and trigger a note, so I doubt there is much lag, if any.
