OK we're being too harsh on this guy. He just wants to make some money by exploiting the suburban ideal of the modern club DJ. Put the DJ on a pedestal, great! As long as it pays your bills.
Psychosmiley, keep it up. Don't listen to us. Just because we think it's a retarded idea doesn't mean you should cancel your idea. Someone said that the show reminded them of an episode of E!. Thats positive feedback because that means the show may actually be marketable. If you can make money off all the retards who worship DJs as danceflor demigods, more power to ya! Just do make the trailer *slightly* less cliche.

It feels like that Subliminal DVD Live at Pacha. That was sooooooooooo cheesy it gave me gas.
I could actually see this show playing on some minor cable or satellite channel late at night. The only problem is that there seems to be extremely limited material to go on. There are only so many DJs to interview and so many aspects of modern club culture to present. Hire some good writers.

Shouldn't it be called Great DJs of the USA?? that Youtube video seems very American Orientated IMO..Don't forget the Real
Great DJs of the world come from the UK,Germany and Holland not the USA !!!!!!!!!

Theres more to life than just country and RnB

baaaaaaah
A whole lot of house DJ's in the United States
The United States started the explosion of Dance music, yes there was kraftwerk to start things off but WE inspired all of your great DJ's!!!!!!!
Dance music isn't really mass consumed here in the states like it is over there
Check yo self before you wreck yo self!!!!!!
Bit of a sweeping statement that he made but i would have to agree with him as far as the nich in music i'm interested in there are only a handful of merkin djs i would go & see these days. Shame because American djs have definitely been an inspiration in the past, when things blew up in the uk & bacame inevitably commercialized with the likes of pete tong & judge jules much of the underground scene looked to American underground music & djs as inspiring & superior.

That he made???????
The thing is though that is just one genre of a much larger scene. I mean ok there have been/are some inspiring US drum and bass producers/DJs but the UK under ground looking to the US underground as more inspiring & superior??? Is that some sort of joke?

ooops she rather.
I can't speak for drum & bass was never into it that much i'm talking about deep underground house music. Ron trent, chez damier, todd terry, 95north, jovonn ect pre-1996 was & still is a huge influence on the uk & also French deep house scene. Infact France started putting out amazing deep house post 1996 & this was much admired too in the uk. This is not some sweeping generalisation about all dance music just a fact about the scene ive grown up with here in the uk.

Lolz, my point was that
you were making a huge sweeping statement, not that you got the gender of the dude wrong, but you qualified it in your second post so I'll not go on.
