"Collect all and Save" lets you choose from which locations you want to collect samples..
very usefull when you for instance don't want to include a 1 gigabyte grand piano patch

What are some improvements for sampler? Also, how's the new drum rack? Thanks...

when you audition loops in the browser, does 7 still do it as a one-shot, or can it loop endlessly (like Acid)??

in keeping with what I am adopting as a tradition (as something of an emotional sop, you see), I missed out on inclusion the early beta (even though you could SIGN UP d'oh) but it all sounds very good, thanks for the input from the beta testers. Sidechaining, drum racks, 'fine tempo' ritardando! wow... cool... formant filters, MIDI BEAT REPEAT?!?
now let's hope more solider betterer sooner.

UTENZIL a tool... of the muse.

IF you click on the file name in an audio clip, it takes you to where that file is shown in the browser.

Sampler and Simpler now have equal power crossfade curves.
It is finally possible to loop longer samples in a usefull way with crossfades...

can you put an instrument rack inside one slot of a drum rack?
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

Hi,
Yes, you can put any device in a Drum Rack chain, same as an Instrument Rack chain.

I just read through this whole thread for the first time in its entirety, and I gotta say, I am definitely pretty excited about this update now. The little things really do make a difference.

I'm not sure I totally understand this one though. Equal-power curves?

Means, the loudness stays the same in the crossfade region.
