I don't think farmpad allows this... but not sure, did you read the manual about X/Y pad??

Check Korg forums, search "farmpad", the thread with the most replies is really instructive, and the guy called 'FlyCycle' is Farmpad's developper...

whats an automator workflow and what part does this play on this?

Yup. farmpad is awesome for that and that feature was specifically added to 1.3.1 I believe. It's described in either in the readme or example configs that come with farmpad, or in one of the forum posts, about setting up the xy pad to work just like the kaoss pad where the effect comes on when you touch the xy pad and turns off when you take your fingers off. Combined with farmpad's built-in ability to group buttons (with visual feedback), you can easily make it work exactly like a koass pad .

Automator comes with OS X. You can use it to automate things on your computer. I think it was the only way I could get my .command file to automatically launch in Terminal.

Is there another manual or thread that I seem to have missed on the x-y pad like a kaoss pad?

On the Automator thing why don't I just automate terminal opening and typng in the code load the txt file on my desktop. Why do I have to change it to a .command file if it doesn't open in terminal?

can someone confirm that farmpad runs OK with snow leopard??

There's the readme.rtf and the xy_switch.txt that comes in the Example Configurations folder.

Not exactly sure if I understand your question but I vaguely remember that the way I describe it using Automator was the only way I could get it to do what I wanted.

farmpad is great! But I have two questions:

1. how to configure a switch that when I press it once (solo/rec) the led will turn on and the function(solo/rec) will turn on also. I've tried with notes, controlls, trigers,retriggers etc. but still without luck - would be great to have visual feedback on solo/record

2. Can some one explain me if it is possible to program touchpad in way that when you press hold+touchpad it sends diffirent message than when you press flam+touchpad? (would be great to have a couple of touchpads

Please please - with pads there is no problem to assign them to solo/rec with led feedback but with buttons x/y/pedal etc. i have to push it twice to work like i want - is it possible?

Hello, I love farmpad and all my live performances are based on it, unfortunantley for the moment I am not able to use it anymore... few days ago ableton crashed and I had to make hard reset of the system, after that farmpad is not responding to my config files - it is blinking twice but config file does not change anything...I tried to install once again the farmapd - nothing, maybe there is a way to uninstall it correctly and install again?
please help - It is very imprtant for me
