I don't think money itself is the problem. The fractional reserve banking system is. Money systems were much more fair it was actually government issued, like the original greenback. While zeitgeist pt2 talked about the fractional reserve system, they didn't talk much about the history of the struggle between private bankers and government for the control of money production. There was a decent flick about that called "Money Masters" or some such thing I think.

I agree. The 'money system' as we know it is simply a system of musical chairs where the bankers keep taking chairs away, far greater in scale than Madoff or other headline news fall guys. There is no equity in the money supply.
