Maybe we should just carry on arguing with him in absentia?
Just go back over all of his posts picking them apart as if he just said it. It might relieve the boredom for a few minutes.
One thing I guarantee though is that he will still be reading every post made since he announced he was leaving and mustering every ounce of his being to stop himself from replying.
