After watching the Adobe Max keynote I'm hyped about the iPad Pro. It looks so fun and easy to get half the work done on the toilet.
It doesn’t have Force Touch. For me it’s too expensive to not have the latest technology. The next version will have it.shadx312 wrote:After watching the Adobe Max keynote I'm hyped about the iPad Pro. It looks so fun and easy to get half the work done on the toilet.

Pretty much all of my media is through iTunes (note: that's not the same thing as saying I use the iTunes Mac app much; I don't) so I'm embedded in the ecosystem and from the reviews I've read it's people like me who will enjoy it the most this early. Sounds like it has room to grow, but I'm stoked to see the new OS.
Did I say it was a new feature? No, I own two 3rd gens.beats me wrote:stringtapper wrote:Just ordered the 64GB model. Is this your first Apple TV? Linked/synced to your iTunes library isn’t a new feature.

Just got the new one and I find it better in every way. Even as annoying as typing in words for searches can be it's still better than it was with the old remote.
The reviews I've read said that people who buy their content will be the most happy with it this *early*. As in people who don't aren't going to find much until a bunch of new apps and games start being released.beats me wrote:stringtapper wrote:I'm embedded in the ecosystem and from the reviews I've read it's people like me who will enjoy it the most this early.
I read it like you just found out about the iTunes sync which isn’t unreasonable if you reread what you typed.
I don't know if you're responding to me but if so you seem to keep reading things into what I'm saying. Never said the Apple TV must use iTunes content. I said most of the reviews I read said that people who are already in the Apple/iTunes ecosystem will benefit the most by adopting early.beats me wrote:For those of us that rip our TV show and movie library there is the Plex app. It doesn’t demand you buy everything from iTunes to work.
Well, come to think of it that is kind of a silly selling point. As far as media content every Apple TV has been best for those already in the Apple/iTunes ecosystem.stringtapper wrote:I don't know if you're responding to me but if so you seem to keep reading things into what I'm saying. I don’t think you can (yet?). That really pissed me off when they removed the drive after the first gen. You shouldn’t have to rely on the internet or wifi and iTunes open on your computer to watch content.Tarekith wrote:For those with the new Apple TV, is there a way to force it to store all your content on it's own drive? So you're not always relying on buffering?
