I’m waiting for an insanely cool iOS Traktor update that will take advantage of the larger iPad Pro that will make me seriously ponder should I drop $1,000 on an iPad Pro or $1,200 on a Traktor S8 controller I would still have to use with my laptop.

Or maybe they’ll make my head (and wallet) explode with some insane Traktor S8 and iPad Pro combo.

Haven’t tried it yet, but apparently on the new Apple TV if you tell Siri “reduce loud sounds” it will lower the volume of music and effects so you can hear the dialogue better.

And you can tell her exactly how many minutes to rewind or fast forward.

It pains me to say this, but Apple’s board of directors needs to have some stern words with Cook.

Apple Watch – great someday (maybe) but not at launch
Apple TV 4 - great someday (maybe) but not at launch
iPad Pro - great someday (maybe) but not at launch

And no lineups out the door for any of these.

And Cook’s favorite response to shortcomings “Users don’t want… ” to exactly what users are saying they want. If you aren’t going to give users what they want then knock it off with the underwhelming half baked-launches and putting 90% of the “magic” in the hardware design.

That was part of the success, but perhaps only a certain facilitator could inspire / literally whip into shape

Jobs was great at releasing a new or niche product and making it appealing to everybody. Cook seems to work the opposite way, take a (now) common product and only make it appealing to a niche user.

Maybe his way of punctuating a point was by having a logistics guy take his place.

I see it as Apple running out of great ideas for the common man and losing “most favored nation status” with industries outside their own. So they are going to start catering to the elite which will all culminate in the Apple Car.
