I've really gotten into buying apps on the iPad instead of through iTunes and it is soooooo annoying I can't add to a wish list instead.

Okay, I was too hasty in my judgement of Atomic browser on the iPad. You have to use 'return to last page ' or 'choose' in the prefs. Then when you flip back to Atomic during multitasking it stays on the last thing you've visited. Cool.

Oh, and who gives a shit if the apps go into some kind of suspended mode when you are multitasking? They still take up valuable processing power. I went into Pianist Pro to noodle around last night and I actually got a Low Memory error because there were too many apps open in the background.

well, I have no iPad, but on the phone you can do that.

when the 'taskbar' thing is open you just press and hold the icons that appear there and you will see a red (-) sign appear that looks shittily like the Black (X) delete sign that comes up on apps if you normally try this maneuver in the main app space.

Anyway - click the minus on the app you want to close, it closes the app.
it doesn't delete it. honest.

Yeah, I see how to do that, but it's still an extra step thats a pain in the ass and takes too long. Why couldn't we just swipe across an app icon and that kills it; or at least brings up the X. ?

well im only dissapointed that i didnt just go for it sooner, so far so fucking awesome, its byebye apc40 launchpad and bcr2000. maybee even bye to the pad kontrol as well.

LOL. thats what I did. Dumped ALL of my hardware controllers and now just use TouchAble. GOD it's great to not have to lug around extra shit and cables and adapters.

When that happens don't panic. Open the app store app and hit genius because the coolest thing to do is find more apps.



I just noticed there's little underscore lines under the f and j on the virtual keyboard. So you can type by feel?

I see there's finally going to be a TiVo app for the iPad.
