Hi,

Is it possible to open up Ableton files made on a PC on a mac?

I am about to start working with someone a long way away. Would a 'collect all & save' work on both platforms?

We both use Ableton 7.

Yes, no problem as long as you are not depending on any PC-specific or Mac-specific plugins that the other doesn't have.

A very nice option to share files is to Manage Files -> Manage Project -> Create Live Pack...

ther are warpers that make a VST into an AU and vice versa.
