Ableton Forum

I really like the tutorial movies at Ableton. But it can be difficult to figure out which ones apply to the current version and which ones only apply to older versions.

I would very much like to see turorial movies that detail each of the instruments, expecially the new ones like Analog, etc.

which one's would you most like? I'm working on some at the moment

I have been studying several analog patching books but having difficulty applying it to Analog. I would very much like to see tutorials that cover Analog and Operator in detail with good, real world, examples.

OK I know it is very expensive... but if you have 1200 US to spend... and you are very familiar with Ableton.. there is an Advanced Ableton Class at Berklee School of Music Online. It is a completely internet based classed.

I am finishing it right now.. and i have learned more in the past 2 months than i have in the past 2 years in Ableton...

The teacher teaches unique ways to do metarecording.. for recording drum grooves into drum racks using drum pads... Yes I actually play my drums now rather than just draw them in.. it is amazing how this has changed the way things sound...

There are also Harmonic Templates and Midi templates he covers...

Also there is extensive covering on Analog, Tension, and Sampler...

I am actually shocked how much I learned in the class and can tell you it was worth every single penny...

There is stuff in the program that I haven't seen anywhere.... period....


Just to give you an FYI..... but like I said.. you have to make sure you know how to use Ableton.. I took the intro class over a year ago... and some of it was still a bit difficult.. if you have had no classes on it... you may be lost.. I know I would have been...


There are lessons on the screen... some completely interactive... and also tons of videos to show you what to do!
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING..... I know it is expensive.. but you totally get what you pay for...
