can anyone tell me where to find the iive preferences.cfg files for Live 7
I need to trash some for various reasons but can't find them

The same place I told you in your thread on the NI forums. In your case:

Mac OS X: /User/Library/Preferences/Ableton

Ha ha - !! yes this was before you told me. I was trying all options. !!

if you have a mac Command space and type in 'preferences cfg', you'll find it in seconds. If PC, sorry don't know. i had to delete mine the other day. I forget why, but it solved whatever problem i had.

Sorry to kick this old threat back to life but i can't find the preferences.cfg on my MBP OSX

Looked all over the place

When I start Ableton (7) I get message he can't find the library for the VST's. I tell him where it is and he seems fine with it. But if I close the program and open again, he tells me again that he can't find it.
As if it erases it's own memory at each time.

I don't even have this path: Mac OS X: /User/Library/Preferences/Ableton
And looking it up with the Spotlight gave no result neither

Any help would be appreciated
